SANDRA McDONALD

I'm a writer, teacher, and foster mom. Yoga, vegetarian, 5k runner, and some biking, too. Recovering Hollywood assistant at CBS Television, DreamWorks, and Disney Studios. 

My short stories have been published in more than 100+ magazines and anthologies, and I have 11 books in print.  I'm grateful to be honored by Lambda Literary Award, Booklist Editor's Choice, Tiptree Honor List, ALA Over the Rainbow, SF Book of the Month Club, and Moonbeam Children's Book Award. 

I'm also a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy in Newport, Norfolk, San Diego, Key West, Groton, Newfoundland, and Guam USA. Hafa adai!
